Portal Pinball Arcade is the largest retro arcade in metro Atlanta. Bryan Broyles, competitive pinball player and enthusiast, opened Portal in December 2017.
Over the years, Bryan’s game collection grew and he wanted to share his games with others and create a fun environment for everyone. The dream was to bring the classic games he grew up with back to the public. The result was a place where generations could come together and have hours of fun. With more than 30 pinball machines and dozens of retro arcade games, Portal offers a fun environment for kids of all ages.
Portal’s collection ranges from games from the 1960s through the most recent pinball machines by the newest manufacturers. Pinball isn’t all that Portal has to offer; remember PacMan, Donkey Kong, Dig Dug, and Galaga? Portal has all of those and more classic arcade games. The arcades of the ‘80s were where kids gathered and friendly competitions were waged. Portal’s customers love the retro feel of an arcade where they can make new friends and spend an hour, or all day, playing.
Community and charity are important to Portal. Since opening, thousands of dollars have been raised and donated to support Mostly Mutts Animal Rescue, STEM programs at Chalker Elementary School, and Project Pinball. Portal’s support of Project Pinball has helped to put pinball machines in both Ronald McDonald Houses in Atlanta.
Go back in time with Portal for your next date night, fun day with the kids, or corporate team builder.
